The Cottage

Imagine yourself on a beautiful, peaceful Lane where trees are full of green leaves and flowers are blooming everywhere. There is a quaint cottage on the lane bordered by a rose garden that is in full bloom. There are benches, bird baths and arbors all around the little cottage. The windows are open and you hear the happy chatter of women sharing stories of life, husbands and children. As you get closer you smell the most delicious cake baking in what you imagine to be a well used oven. When you peek in the windows you see a group of women sitting in front of a fire, sipping coffee and yes, eating cake. You cannot believe the beauty of all of the cottage roses set about the endearing, shabby chic room. You soon realize that what you are experiencing is the peace of knowing a loving and sovereign God. You are seeing some of His children enjoying fellowship together. Welcome to Rose Cottage.
